Full Day Tour To Trekking Phong Nha Abandoned Valley

Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park is one of the most spectacular wilderness sites in South East Asia and one of the 2 largest limestone regions in the world. Destined to become one of Vietnam’s major tourist attractions, a vast network of underground caves and passages can be found, along with awesome jungle scenery and fascinating rock formations.

The Abandoned Valley in a remote area of the world heritage Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is traversed by part of the famous Ho Chi Minh trail. This tour takes in 12km of the Ho Chi Minh trail, exploring the Vietnamese tropical forest and experiencing the history of the Vietnam – American war as you trek along the narrow track. Explore the other exit of the now famous Dark cave, swim in a crystal clear natural spring and explore an unspoiled Hang E, one of the most beautiful river caves in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.

Details Phong Nha abandoned Abandoned valley one-day trekking:

07:30 am – Pick up at the hotel and transfer to our base
08:00 am – Team meeting to plan the trip, clarify rules and regulations in the National Park.
8:30 am – Depart for abandoned valley by motorbike or car (dependant on weather and group size)
9:00 am – Arrive at the trek departure point and start trekking through the jungle to the abandoned valley
11:00 am – Arrive at the Dark cave exit
11:0012:30 pm: Explore 500m inside Dark Cave
12:30 pm – Start trekking along the river to E cave
13:30 pm – Arrive at the entrance of hang E cave, BBQ lunch, swim in the crystal clear spring from hang E, and explore E river cave
15:30 pm – Start trekking on a different trail in the abandoned valley to Ho Chi Minh road
17:30 pm – Arrive at the Ho Chi Minh road, enjoy cold drinks on the road
17:45 pm – Drive back to Phong Nha village and to your hotel
18:15 pm – Arrive at your hotel in the Phong Nha area. Tour ends
