ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi City Tour Full Day (L)

Vietnam Amazing Travel's tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and visit Ho Chi Minh complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closes on Monday and Friday morning. And closes during October) and Museum, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West lake - one of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, visit Bat Trang pottery village (on Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or Ethnology Museum (on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). Also visit the Literature Temple - Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070.

The last stop is Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple and Hanoi’s Old Quarters where you’ll have a chance for some shopping and exploration before the tour ends.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L)

The tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel (Old Quarter) from 8 am – 8.30 am.

We will drive 3 –3.5 hours to get to Halong Bay (Tuan Chau Harbour - the biggest Habour in Halong Bay). Check in the cruise at noon, while lunch has been prepared by Crews on Cruise. While having lunch, the Caption will drive the Boat Cruising around the most magnificent bay and limestone bedrocks and sheer cliffs of tiny islands highlighted with fanciful names: Fighting Cocks (symbol of Halong Bay), Duck (quick swim is an optional choice), Finger, Incense Burner, and Stone Dogs.

The stop of 4-hours cruise is Dong Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto), located on a remote island in the bay with fantastic stalactites and stalagmites. Colored lights transform the scene into a fairy palace.

We will come back harbor around 4.00 pm and we will stop at a break in the middle of the way. You have a chance to go to the restroom or have a drink. Arriving at about 8.00 – 8.30 pm, we drop you off at your Hotel. Finish the unforgettable Halong Bay full day Trip.​

Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau (L, D)

08.00 am: Depart from Hanoi (3.5 hours drive with a break, photo stop; good road condition)

12.00 pm: Arrive in Mai Chau. Welcome drink and cold/hot towel to be served, followed by an appetizing lunch. The fresh, tasty dishes on offer include local vegetable, ingredients such as green bean, black mushroom, fish and chicken cooked in Muong or Thai ethnic minority style.

15.30 pm: Start your journey to discover the interesting surroundings and ethnic minority tribes with a relaxing walk to Thai villages of Pom Coong and Lac and explore Mo Luong cave on the other side of the hotel.

Note: This 2-hours valley cycling tour can be replaced by 4.5-hours cycling & rock climbing tour, which starts from 1.00 pm. Surcharge USD $20/ pax.

19.00 pm: Complement your experience by sampling delicacies from the local region during dinner time and enjoy the performance by a local troupe of ethnic minority Muong and Thai people. It is so relaxing to watch the exciting dances featuring the flower, landscape and daily agriculture cultivating activities and sweet dating songs in the fresh mountain air.

Day 4: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L)

08.00 am: Enjoy a tasty international breakfast in Bo Luong Restaurant with views overlooking the lake, the paddy fields, and the swimming pool.

09.00 am: Start the Valley biking tour. The ride passes through many villages, across lush rice paddies, and into the countryside to get to know the local hill tribe people and their culture better. Then free time.

13.30 pm: Leave Mai Chau. You will arrive in Hanoi at around 17.00 pm.

17.00 pm: Tour finishes.
