Itinerary

Day 1: Trek from Bac Ha to Ta Van Chu (L, D)

8.00 am: The local bus driver will pick you up at Lao Cai train station then travel to Bac Ha.

Start your trek from Bac Ha to the local ethnic minority people in the villages, take pictures of people and beautiful landscapes. Have a picnic lunch under the shade. Arrive home-stay in Ta Van Chu walk around the H’mong ethnic village.

Have dinner in local family, overnight on the stilt-house.

Day 2: Trek from Ta Van Chu to Lung Phinh (B, L, D)

Do trekking after breakfast in home-stay, trek down hills passing the rice-fields in the morning. Have lunch at noon. Climb the hills again to Lu Than village then arrive Lung Phinh, stay overnight in the family of Fula ethnic minority people.

Day 3: Trek from Lung Phinh to Na Lo (B, L, D)

Start your trek after breakfast via the mountain trails, the colorful dresses of local H’mong ethnic minority will be found along your trip. Have a picnic lunch on the top of the mountain. Walk down the hill to Na Lo valley then reach the homestay of Tay people in the afternoon.

Day 4: Trekking from Na Lo to Na Hoi - Nam Mon (B, L)

You will start walking from Na Lo to Ngai Thau another H'mong village. You could see more about the landscapes of rice terraces and mountain. Have a picnic lunch around noon. Walk down the hill to Na Hoi Tay Village then walk back to Bac Ha. Pack your bag and the local bus will pick up to Lao Cai for the night train.
