Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Ninh Binh (L, D)
07:45 – 08:15: Pick-up at Hotel in Hanoi to go to Ninh Binh.
09:30: Short break along the way.
10:30: Arrive in Hoa Lu (The First Vietnamese’s capital). Visit 2 temples of the first 2 Emperors in the 10thCentury.
11:30: Get on the sampan boat to explore the historical Sao Khe River and Cave in the ancient Capital.
12:00: Lunch in Trang An. (Vegetarian is available).
13:30 – 16:00: Cycling through local villages and visit a local family to learn about their daily life and culture. Afterward, visit a Secret Cave opening into a paradise valley where you can learn about farming and using floating rafts.
16:00: Back to the hotel, enjoy free time.
19:00: Have dinner.
Day 2: Ninh Binh – Mai Chau (B, L, D)
07:30: Have Breakfast
09:00: The driver takes you to Mai Chau by car.
11:45: Visit local market of the Muong Ethnic Minority to learn about their daily life and customs, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Thung Khe Pass (One of the 10 most beautiful passes in Vietnam).
12:30: Arrive in Mai Chau Valley for lunch. (Vegetarian is available).
13:30 – 15:30: Visit the real local Thai traditional Stilt House before cycling to visit villages of the Thai Ethnic Minority and learn about their daily life and culture. Stop by the handcraft village to learn about weaving in the traditional ways and support by buying their local products.
16:00: Get on the car to go to Hidden Buoc Village.
17:00 – 19:00: Check-in to your Lodge – Free time to enjoy the swimming pool, cycling or walking around the village.
19:00: Have Dinner and free time to relax. Overnight here.
Day 3: Morning Fun Excursion – Hanoi (B, L)
07:30 – 08:30: Breakfast at the Lodge.
08:30 – 12:00: Trekking with a local guide to visit the beautiful surrounding villages visiting the non-tourist path and rice terraces. (Distance trek about 7.5km).
12:30: Check-out and have lunch.
14:00: Board the car to go back to Hanoi.
19:00: Arrive in Hanoi and drop you off at your Hotel. Tour Ends.
