Hoa Lu Ancient Capital covers an area of 300 ha (3km2), including both the Inner and Outer Citadels. It included defensive earthen walls, palaces, temples, and shrines, and was surrounded and protected by mountains of limestone. Today, the ancient citadel no longer exists, and few vestiges of the 10th century still remain.

Trang An eco-tourism site is considered the “Halong Bay on the land". From the distance, visitors have the opportunity to perceive the white flowers of the reeds in the foothills. While enjoying fresh air and mountain scenery, visitors are made to be lost in a magical world. Mua caves (dancing caves) is near Tam Coc (about 3.5km from Tam Coc) about more than 500 steps to climbing up the mountain, Mua caves are one of the most beautiful places to view in Ninh Binh. The traveler can see the city far from the standing in front of, Tam Coc in the back and the limestone mountain along to the south of Vietnam.

Tour itinerary

7.30 – 8.00: Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in Hanoi and transfer to Ninh Binh.

10.00: We will start to visit Mua Cave. Arrive at Mua cave, start climbing almost 500 stone steps to reach the top of Mua cave. Feel the fresh air and admire a panoramic view of the beautiful Tam Coc area.

12.00: Enjoy lunch with plenty of traditional foods such as spring rolls, goat meat…etc.

14.00: Arrive at Hoa Lu ancient capital. Visit Dinh King's temple and Le King's temple from the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of these two kings in the Chinese wars.

15.30: This is a highlight of the trip, take a boat tour from Trang An wharf is a satisfying experience you must do in Ninh Binh. Being on your rowing bamboo boat to explore many grottos with beautiful stalactites, see around wonderful landscapes of Trang An.

18.00: Get on the car and return to Hanoi.

20.00: Arrive at Hanoi, drop off at your hotel. End of tour!
