Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave - Bai Dinh Pagoda – 2 Days/1 Night

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (L)

07.30 – 08.30 am: Get picked up by our tour guide and driver then depart for Ninh Binh province (100 km south of Hanoi). Have a break 20 minutes halfway to relax and experience Vietnamese handicraft products such as lacquer wares, paintings, embroideries,...

10.30 am: Arrive at Hoa Lu, which is once depicted the ancient capital of Vietnam, settled up in the 10th century.

11.00 am: Visit temples of two dynasties of Dinh and Le with very unique architectures in the old time.

11.30 am: Visit the excavation area beside the Le Dai Hanh temple. You experience the vestiges of Royal Palaces ground dated back the 10th century. Go back to the bus and drive to Tam Coc.

CYCLING RIDE (optional): Those who love to explore real countryside images of Vietnam can proceed with a 40-minute cycling ride along the country lane (from Tam Coc to Bich Dong Pagoda, estimated time 40 minutes for 5km cycling 2 ways), experiencing the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields. Finish the cycling ride at Tam Coc docks in time for a buffet lunch in the restaurant.

14.00 pm: Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains, and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves “Hang Ca – First cave, Hang Hai – Second cave, Hang Ba – Third cave” to get a strange feeling.

16.00 pm: Boat returns to the dock and walks to your hotel. Have dinner by yourself and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Mua Cave – Bai Dinh Pagoda – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

8.00 Am: Have to breakfast by yourself.

09.00 am: Get picked up at your hotel for Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight.

12.00 pm: Have lunch in a local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork…

Mua Cave

After lunch: You will be transferred to visit Mua Cave and learn about its interesting stories told by our guide. From the top of the cave, you can see the majestic landscape of Tam Coc.

Continue climb 500 stone steps, you are at the top of the mountain where you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and the wonderful Ngo Dong River. The most beautiful place to view in Ninh Binh, where can see the city far from the standing in front of Tam Coc in back and the limestone mountain along to the south of Vietnam.

17.00: Tour Finnish, have free time at your hotel and have dinner by yourself. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
