Day 1: Mai Chau – Cycling around Rice paddy (L, D)

7:30 – 8:00: Pick up at your hotel in our comfortable car/van and depart for Mai Chau.

10:00: Short break

11:30 – 12:00: Scenic photo stop of Mai Chau valley/arrive in Mai Chau

12:15: Traditional lunch in a local village (vegetarian available)

13:00 – 15:00: Bicycle ride with the local tour guide, see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and visit surrounding peaceful villages.

15:00 – 18:00: Free time for bicycling, walking, shopping

18:00: Visit Thai living museum for Traditional BBQ dinner

19:30: Watch Thai traditional dance in the stilt house Enjoy Traditional alcohol (ruou can) with the community

Day 2: Hiking 1000 Steps Cave – Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D)

7:30 – 8:00: Wakeup and eat breakfast

8:30 – 11:30: Hike to 1000 Step Cave and local market

12:00 – 13:00: Lunch in the village and take the van to go to Cuc Phuong National Reserve

16:30 – 17:00: Arrive in Cuc Phung National Reserve; check in the hotel in the Reserve, free time to walk.

18:30 – 19:30: Dinner at the hotel, enjoy the quiet night in the reserve and sleep in the hotel.

Day 3: Cuc Phuong – 1000 years old tree – Van Long Nature Reserve (B, L)

07:30 – 08:00: Breakfast in the hotel, check out the room.

08:30 – 11:00: Drive in the park and do hiking for 6kms in the Jungle forest to explore 1000 kind of trees and animals, visit the 1000 years old tree.

11:00 – 13:00: Drive to Van Long Nature Reserve, lunch in a local specialty restaurant.

13:30 – 15:00: Take a bamboo boat to explore the beautiful and quiet of the reserve (Halong bay on land)

15:00 – 17:30: Drive back to Hanoi, drop you off at your Hanoi old quarter hotel.

07.30 - 08.00 am: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, depart for Hoa Lu Tam Coc Ninh Binh

8.00 - 11.30 am: Take 2-hours driving by experienced drivers to the Ninh Binh Province. You will take a boat tour to Kenh Ga floating village, a natural preserve area considered as one of the most characteristic of rural areas of the Red River Delta.

We also visit the former capital of Vietnam – Hoa Lu. You will have time to visit two temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the two heroes who lived in the 10th century and chose Hoa Lu to build the citadel of the capital city of Dai Viet.

11.45 - 12.00: You will be served delicious Vietnamese lunch in Tam Coc. Take a short break to begin the activities in the afternoon

13.00 pm: After having lunch and take a short break, we get on small rowing boats on Ngo Dong River, the boat takes you to all three caves in about two hours.

14.30 - 17.30 pm: You continue visiting Bich Dong Grotto (emerald-like grotto), around 2 km from Tam Coc by bike.

Climb a little bit till you get to the top of the Upper pagoda and your eyes catch the overall panorama of the paddy fields in Truong Yen Mountain - arrive back to Tam Coc by biking and visit Thai Vi temple with unique beauty on road bank and see the ancient temple. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 2: Tam Coc – Mai Chau

8.00 - 8.30 am: Starting early day having delicious Vietnam food and enjoys cool and comfortable fresh air.
9.00 - 12.00 am: Transfer to Mai Chau by our van to take half-day biking in Mai Chau village.
12.00 pm: Have lunch in the local restaurant or local house. Take a rest before visiting one popular Mai Chau village.
13.00 - 17.00 pm: Biking to Van village in Mai Chau with the local guide.
17.30 pm: Return the Mai Chau homestay and have warmly dinner with local people. Overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 3:  Mai Chau full day trekking

8.00 – 8.30 am: Starting early day having delicious Vietnam food and enjoys cool and comfortable fresh air.
We will take morning time to trek to Pa Co village Xa Linh -  remote villages in Mai Chau and discover the more daily life of the resident here.
12.00 pm: Take a lunch and come back to our van to return Hanoi.

16.30 pm: Return to Hanoi. End of the 3 days/2 nights visiting Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc and remote villages and be close to nature and peaceful atmosphere and lovely of Thai villages.
