Feel the fresh atmosphere, and see how’s lives of local residents are reserved without a big impact from modern life outside. Returning to the junks for transferring back to a local house, at which we relax and enjoy a really delicious dinner.

Day 3: Ba Be – Cao Bang (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we say goodbye to our intimate hosts for a 95km driving to Cao Bang Province, which is the home of the various minor communities like Nung, H’mong and Tho people. Lunch is ready at the local restaurant in Cao Bang before we check-in to the hotel.

The afternoon is time for visiting around, as we get on transportation and spend about 2 hours exploring local lives at a traditional village in the suburban area of Cao Bang City.

Day 4: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc – Nguom Ngao (B, L, D)

Today, we pay a visit to Ban Gioc Waterfall, which is one of the most worth-visiting and amazing attractions of Cao Bang Province. Located on the borderline between Vietnam and China, Ban Gioc is the complex of several waterfalls with magnificent landscape, which might be considered as a minimizing version of the famous Niagara Waterfall in the U.S. Have yourself some wonderful photo of the places before we head to a local restaurant for lunch.

The attraction is special because of not only its outstanding rocks and stalactite in diverse shapes but also its name, which means “Cave of Tiger” in the local language. Welcoming guests inside the cave are mesmerizing scenery, as well as unique sounds of wind and water through rocks which are like the roar of tigers.
